PFLAG supports LGBT people, their families and friends locally and nationally by providing PFLAG chapter help lines, support group meetings and resources.

Two-spirited” or “two-spirit” usually indicates a person whose body simultaneously manifests both a masculine and a feminine spirit. The term can also be used more abstractly, to indicate presence of two contrasting human spirits (such as Warrior and Clan Mother) or two contrasting animal spirits (which, depending on the culture, might be Eagle and Coyote).

Tri-States Transgender Group
Provides support, advocacy, education and social opportunities for the transgender community in a safe and fun atmosphere. Outreach is to the entire spectrum of the transgender community including cross dressers, transsexuals (FtM, MtF), intersex, two-spirit, genderqueer transgender significant others, and those interested in gender issues.
Meetings are held at TCC, 305 E. 37th Street, Garden City from 7-9 PM on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.

The TLPI brought experts and advocates together to work on law and policy initiatives designed to advance transgender equality.
